Flavor & Aroma

How to Brew
Gongfu Style
- Use approximately 6–8g tea in a 100–150ml gaiwan or small teapot.
- Use water at 95–100°C.
- Rinse quickly once for around 5 seconds.
- Start the first drinking infusion at 8–10 seconds.
- Increase later infusions gradually by 5–10 seconds.
- Decant fully after each infusion.
Everyday Teapot
Use around 5g tea per 300ml near-boiling water. Steep for 2–3 minutes, pour out completely and re-steep to taste.
Food Pairing
Pairs well with dim sum, sesame pastries, dark chocolate, nuts, mooncake, dried fruit and light desserts. The rose aroma also makes it a pleasant after-meal or evening tea.
Tea-Room Display & Interior Styling
The white-and-rose wrappers create an elegant decorative accent. Arrange several wrapped mini tuocha in a shallow porcelain bowl, glass tea jar or lidded ceramic canister beside a dark clay teapot and white tasting cups. The pink, cream and earthy palette works especially well with contemporary Chinese, Japandi and warm-neutral interiors.
Gift Ideas
The individually wrapped format makes this easy to divide into tasting sets, host gifts, office tea jars and small seasonal gift boxes. Pair with a porcelain gaiwan or two tasting cups for a compact Chinese tea gift.
Storage
Store in a clean, dry, ventilated place away from direct sunlight, excess humidity, perfume, incense, spices and other strong odors.
