The Chinese Collector’s Cabinet: How to Display Carvings, Wenwan, Porcelain & Small Art Objects
The difference between a collection and clutter is usually spacing, hierarchy and light. A cabinet can feel like a private museum if the objects are edited with discipline.

Small Chinese objects often carry extraordinary detail—wood grain, carved surfaces, symbolic forms, porcelain glaze, seed patterns and miniature sculpture.
